JCI NIGERIA SOUTHWEST RETREAT TRAINING 2024
As always, there are so many impactful conferences and trainings to attend every month. This month, our members had the chance to attend the JCI Nigeria Southwest Retreat Training. It was a three-day event held at the Barracuda Beach Resort in Lagos. The retreat featured some insightful discussions with thought leaders, plus fun games and activities.
There were trainings on Leadership, Artificial Intelligence, and more. And of course, a bonfire on the beach. Phew! You can only imagine how much fun that was! Overall, It was an unforgettable experience filled with learning, networking, and lots of fun.
JCIN UNILAG AND Web3UNILAG PARTNERSHIP
We teamed up with another amazing organization, Web3UNILAG, for the ‘Blockchain in UNILAG’ conference. Held on November 15, 2024, at the University of Lagos, the event was all about ‘Charting a Course for Innovation’.
Ever wondered what Web3 is?🤔 Web3, also known as Web 3.0, is the next big thing for the internet! It’s about creating a more decentralized, secure, and user-focused online world. Powered by blockchain technology, Web3 puts you in control of your data and digital assets, no more relying on big corporations to hold all the power. Great, yeah?😅
So, from Web3 to blockchain and decentralized finance, the Blockchain in UNILAG conference was packed with exciting discussions, including panel talks featuring top Web3 visionaries. And, to top it off, there was a thrilling 'Pitch-a-thon', where several business startups shared their innovative ideas. All in all, it was an experience that ignited new passions and connections for tech enthusiasts, and in the Web3 community.

JCIN UNILAG THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY
You’d be excited to hear that those present at our last General Assembly couldn't stop raving excitedly all over the place. Virtually, of course!😅It was an amazing time during the Question and Answer session with Mr Temitayo Ajibade.
The assembly was a fireside chat with our incredible speaker, who happens to be the 2010/2011 President of JCIN UNILAG. Also, you might find it interesting to know that he graduated with a first class degree in Architecture! Uh-huh!😌
He answered tons of questions that had been on the minds of our members and prospective members too.
It was an inspiring and insightful session that left everyone all fired up and ready to take on new challenges. If you missed it, make sure you don't miss the next one.
