February symbolizes love in various forms. While it celebrates romantic love, it is also a reminder to embrace love for family, friends, and YOU. It's a reminder to;
In spreading love and positivity, JCIN UNILAG extended a hand of love to everyone, through a memorable Valentine’s Day event. It was a wonderful opportunity to bond, catch up, play games, and relieve school stress. The highlight for me and I’m sure for almost everyone was the exchange of gifts and heartfelt notes, it was a beautiful sight to behold.
Were you at the event? Let me know how it went for you, who you exchanged with, and what you got in the comment session.
LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE!
Speaking of love, how are you showing love to yourself this exam period? For me, I'm making sure to take breaks when my mind needs rest and read when my head is calm. Well, I am here to give you study tips to aid you in studying well, instead of drinking gallons of coffee to stay awake.
The first step is to minimize distractions during this period. It is not easy, especially when you get lots of notifications, consider activating the "Do Not Disturb" mode on your phone to avoid being constantly pulled away by notifications from various apps.
If you tend to get distracted easily by noise or struggle to focus outside of your bed, consider pushing yourself to study in the library. Remember, this adjustment is for your benefit and can significantly improve your studying experience.
Get creative with your notes by using colorful pens and highlighters. Underline important dates, texts, and definitions to ensure nothing is overlooked. These enhance memory retention and make studying more engaging.

Make sure you divide your notes into sections and read them gradually. For instance, if you have 12 pages, read 4 pages in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Take breaks, and eat before studying so you can assimilate fast.
While revising, use a small jotter to jot potential questions and test yourself by answering them. Prioritize getting enough sleep for optimal cognitive function. During exams, carefully read all instructions, identify the questions you find easiest, and highlight key points. Take time to think about how to develop your answers before writing them out fully. This approach ensures clarity and precision in your responses.
I’m not preaching the reading styles that works for you? Let me know what works for you in the comment session so we can learn and excel together!
aannnnd, I’m going to leave you with this;

Love you too 😂
